Two things that stood out to me so much as I thought I would share them with you all.
His sister stood up and gave a ulegy(spelling?) after the Mayer of NYC and The commisoner, and she talked about his life his loves of being a fireman and his personality. But she ended the speach with a simple line that embodies who and what a firefigher is.

(not exact something like this) That morning as Mike got off the rig and entered the burning structure I am sure he did so with excitement and there was no place he would rather be than fighting that fire on that day.

After his sister spoke his dad took the podeum to deliver his ulegy and simply recited this poem!! And sat back down!!

"Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there; I did not die." (Unknown Author)

A fitting send off for the way Reilly lived his life!

As E229Lt stated there were alot of patches from all over who came to see FF Reilly off. True testamint to the brotherhood.

The sisters, and his Capts. eulogy really hit home, actually hearing what he was like from someone who knew him, not hearing second hand info.
I wish I could attend tomorrows services, but I work.
Give the Lt. a strong showing tomorrow Brothers!
