I heard a song a few months ago while driving through western Kansas. It had the phraze, Im alive, and repeated it a few times. I think it was the song done by Air Supply, But i cant find an album with that song listed???
More info on the song, it has a 70's/80's beat to it, a song that you could drive to, and one that makes you want to speed.

I know that is a needle in a hay field, but i thought i would give it a try.

Ok... its early in the day and I'm sitting in the office, bored out of my skull. So here is what I found, bear in mind I am not able to listen to any of these so don't know what they sound like.

1) Celine Dion - "I'm Alive"
2) Jackson Brown - Looking East album
3) Alice Cooper doing Jackson Brown
4) Electric Light Orchestra - Xanadu album.

I run LimeWire software at home, to find songs, but since I'm not there...... well just hope this helps.

Woe be the man who can confuse Celine Dion with Air Supply...

I might be going out on a limb but maybe it's "I'm Alive" (http://www.lyricscontainer.com/lyrics.php?songid=1457) by Air Supply.

Ok. I did a search through most of their songs, but that title didn't show on the list I had.

And Voyager... nope no confusion here - "Just the facts, M'am." :D

Is it this one?

I'm alive - and the world shines for me today
I'm alive - suddenly I am here today
Seems like forever (and a day), thought I could never (feel this way)
Is this really me? I'm alive, I'm alive

I'm alive - and the dawn breaks across the sky
I'm alive - and the sun rises up so high
Lost in another world (far away), never another word (till today)
But what can I say? I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

(Instrumental break)

Suddenly came the dawn (from the night), suddenly I was born (into light)
How can it be real? I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

I'm alive - and the world shines for me today
I'm alive - suddenly I am here today
Seems like forever (and a day), thought I could never (feel this way)
Is this really me? I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

(Instrumental break)

I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive

"I'm Alive" by ELO

(and I guess that Air Supply did a cover version of it too...)

Now now boys....this is my era of music.....old hair bands baby!

Can't forget "Live Wire" by Motley Crue

Plug me in
I'm alive tonight
Out on the streets again
Turn me on
I'm too hot to stop
Something you'll never forget
Take my fist
Break down walls
I'm on the top tonight

(pre-chorus)
No, no
You better turn me loose
You better set me free
Cause i'm hot, young, running free
A little bit better than i use to be.

(chorus)
Cause i'm alive
Live wire
Cause i'm alive
I'm a live wire
Cause i'm alive
Live wire
Cause i'm alive
I'm a live wire

I'll either break her face
Or take down her legs
Get my ways at will
Go for the throat
Never let loose
Goin' in for the kill
Take my fist
Break down walls
I'm on top tonight

(pre-chorus)(chorus)

Come on baby
Gotta play with me
Well i'm your live wire
You better lock your doors
I'm on the prowl tonight
Well be mine tonight

(chorus)

Come on be my baby
Come on tonight
Come on love me baby
Come on tonight
I'll give you everything
You want inside
Plug me in, plug me in
I want you
Come on tonight

How about "Walk Tall" by John Mellencamp...

The simple minded
And the uninformed
Can be easily led astray
And those that cannot connect the dots
Hey look the other way
People believe what they want to believe
When it makes no sense at all
so be careful of those who kill in jesus' name
who don't believe in killing at all
Walk tall
Yeah walk on
Through this world
Walk tall
Somewhere out in the distance
Is the death of you and me
Even though we don't think of it much
It's still out there for us to see
If you treat life like a bar room fight
You'll die stinking of gin
No drunkards are allowed in heaven
No sinners will get in
Walk tall
Yeah, walk on
Walk tall
Through this world
Walk tall
So be careful in what you believe in
There's plenty to get you confused
And in this land called paradise
You must walk in many men's shoes
Bigotry and hatred are enemies to us all
Grace, mercy and forgiveness
Will help a man walk tall
So walk tall
Yeah, walk on
Walk tall
Through this world
Through this world
Yeah, walk tall
Then walk on
Walk tall
Then walk on
Through this world
Through this world
Through this world
Through this world
Walk tall
Walk tall
Then walk on
Walk tall

(Hey, it might be close...) :)
