Anyone know anything about Franklin?

Civil service test results are due in about a week, and on a whim ( and based on the letter that come to my mailbox from the chief of the department advertising the open positions) I chose Franklin as one of my four. I went for a drive through the town the other day and really liked what I saw... It seems like a real nice place to live and work... Anyone here know anything about the place? I've seen the department's website and got some info, but I'm sure there's more out there... Thanks for the help.

Are you a paramedic fostah? I am about 99% sure they are only hiring paramedics now, or you have to be one at the time of appointment. Other than that I know they have a new Fire Station on the drawing board so that is always nice...

yeah, I'm a paramedic.. and I believe the second station is now up and running...

Yea i Know they have 2 stations going right now but one of them is getting completely renovated if not torn down and re done. I am just not sure as to which one.
