Emergency Message Boards Used to Advertise Fish Fry (http://www.theindychannel.com/news/9583726/detail.html?taf=ind)

Should emergency message boards be restricted to ONLY disaster messages? I would argue that using them more often means that at least SOMEBODY knows how to turn the damn things on! Will people really pay less attention in a disaster if an occasional non-emergency message is posted?

"We run the county," Commissioner Tim Wilson said. "We make decisions to run the county on what's best for us. Did we misuse (the signs)? Or did we just run the county as we saw fit?" Then why is the Federal Government buying the signs for "his" county? It's really simple, you want their toys, you play by their rules. Don't like it, buy your own signs.
