I was just going outside to walk the dog...

So I was just walking outside, to walk the dog tonight at about 2300. My downstairs neighbors said, "Hey your buddies are working down there." Well, I saw enough trucks to justify seeing what was going on. Below is a picture of what I found! Apparantly this car drove over the parking block and into the wall in front of the aparment building down from me! Never even heard it happen. The steps and decks of the 2 apartments above are obviously gone and there is no way into the downstairs aparment! What a good night to NOT be working!

My fiance reads this too..so no comment :)

We just had another good one Friday night, this time I was working. Tanker truck with 8000 gallons of diesel overturned and leaking. Ended up being there for awhile as you might guess. My pictures didn't turn out so great (cell phone pics again) but I may be able to track down some better ones. Not a bad little hazmat call though!

I think dad is on some oil well tanks on fire north of Ashley right now. Not 100% sure what's goin on there, radio traffic is pretty broken.

"Oil Well Tanks" ended up being a small shed next to the tanks. Interstate highway, cell phone.... you understand how those two could get mixed up. In other words, not much of a fire.
