How much equipment?

Hello Im a physician from LIma Peru, I work as a voluntier in a fire station as EMT , (here in Peru we dont have school of EMT, well Im planing to study emergency medicine). I have a doubt I want to know how much equipment and medicines our ambulance should to have?, for how many people? There is some bibliograhpy or a protocol?
For now I m only guesing
My station have a Light duty Ambulance and my station of one ten more busies in Lima (The capital city of PERU).
If you can tell me what is the staff and medicines that yours ambulances have a would be very greatfull.

....and much more that I cannot think of now.
