Remote Alarming Smoke Detector

I am looking for a remote alarming smoke detector. ie/ Have the detector in an unatached garage and the audio alarm in the house. Dose anyone know where I could pick one up. I've been looking and haven't had any luck.

First Alert makes wireless smokes that "set eachother off". Put one in the garage and another in the house. Add them all over. They may be the ones subject to a recent recall though?

Not sure what the range is on the wireless models. It may not work if your garage is far from the house.
