Please support my daughter Katie Johnston in the 17th Annual Gelatin Splash sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
She is jumping in memory of her Grandfather, W. George Wood, who died of Leukemia in 1979 and to honor me, (Bill Johnston, aka Batchief99), still in remission from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
The actual event is on June 16, 2006 at 6:00 PM to 9 PM and it will be held at the
Buffalo/Niagara Marriott, 1340 Millersport Highway, Amherst, NY.
Katie will find out what it feels like to slide into 1,000 gallons of jiggly gelatin. She needs to raise $250 to take the big plunge but her goal is to raise $1,000 for the event.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
