This movie is set to come out in August. Don't know where the profits are going, just found the trailer and thought I would share it.

This movie is going to be very emotionaly charged. There will be a big backlash about making this movie I think. More so that Flight 93, since it actually shows the towers. But I think it will also be able to show that we are starting to be ready to see some of the good shine through as people struggled that day.

I just think it is interesting how far we have come since 9/11. When it first happened movies were postponed so that we could digitally remove the WTC from the film. TV shows that show the WTC were pulled from the line-up rotation. It was almost like if we pretend the WTC never existed, we won't have to be sad about it being gone.

I know some are gonna hate me for this comment, but it looks lame... Although the NYPD never got much regognotion for what they did soo it covers that basis. By far not one Nicholas Cage's better movies.

Question there... Slappy

How in the hell do you know this? I saw the trailer in the theater while watching another and thought... WOW! (everyone is entitled to their opinion) However I take exception to the fact that you think this is a movie "just to cover the bases". Next thing you will probably be pissed and demand a movie for the EMT/MEDICS that got killed... so we can just "cover the bases". That is a lame comment... extremely lame.

Now no one get me wrong. I think the WTC was a tragedy in its utmost! I also cannot stand some sensationalistic movie making money on the blood of my brothers... PD or FD. I will reserve my final judgement on this film when I watch it but from what I saw I think it will be very heart breaking.

By far not one Nicholas Cage's better movies.
This movie came out when?! You know this how?!

I was just thinking the same thing....he already saw it? But anyways I think its going to be a good movie and also I'm glad that they are finally making a movie like this, I mean we cant keep living like it never happened and when someone wants to talk about or make a movie about it just give the the cold shoulder. And also yeah it sucks but there is always going to be someone who is making money off of something...what about all the war movies? People made money from events that took place and plenty of people died...And of course this movie is going to have alot of controversy I mean it was a HUGE event in American history, so there will be people who are against it and people who are for it...

I'm with you here.

If it is worth the price of remembrance, make the damned movie.

I agree that $$$ should not be the driving force but from what i read on the background on this its about the 2 last surving ppl pulled from the rubble.......there is a story and i think i needs to be told.oliver stone is known for being contraversial but i think this will be tasteful and respectful. i for one am not about anyone making money on innocent ppl dying but i will see this like i said there is a story to be told and i for one wanna hear it.

I thought the movie was fairly good other the fact that they pulled the officers out and everybody was there for them 2 when really it was mass chaos. Other than that the movie was put together very well
