Here is a good idea for riot tactics
Huge tanker trucks full of pure OC spray, huge monitors ontop.
And indstead of battons, hundreds of beanbag rounds and sting bombs.

That may screw up the pumps. And where did this random thread come from.

1) Why bother with just a truck?

2) What are you smoking and are you willing to share because it's got to be good stuff.

I made the suggestion, regarding use of a/c or helos to dispense OC back when I was doing my naval boarding team training. The look I got from my instructors has no descriptors in the English language. :D
Ok.. so there might be a bit of collateral "damage" by way of getting a few more people than just the crowd at hand, but those who are innocent would likely be indoors anyhow. Follow the OC tanker with a a fine mist of water and....... ;) End of a riot. :) Of course there are always those who are more ore less immune to the effects of OC spray, but then thats what the "hit" squads are for.

Personally I've long been an advocate for the aerial deployment of prozac.

I was thinking of the OC spray coming back on to the fire personnel as well.
One side note- In the LA Riots, there was a lot of "pump and run". Meaning rolling up, deploying deck guns and moving on to the next structure. Since the common type 1 engine carried 500 gallons of water and the crew was exposed, I figured why not use the crash trucks? They can pump and roll and be operated from the cabs.
But resources are limited. So ofcourse the next LA riots will stil be with type 1s.
