What part of Fl are you guys from? St.Pete guy myself. Im about to separate the Air Force as a firefighter. Currently Im sending out my resume to other contracts I want to apply for. Ive deployed to Baghdad before so I'll save the sandbox job as a last resort. Good Luck!

hey yo. i'm currently from central florida but the previous 23 years were in south Fla. I'm acutally in the terminal right now about to get on the plane and head to houston. i'm going to go out on a limb here and guess from your name that your from Miami, spent a good deal of time in the 305. got a couple of boys down there.

Yeah man i'm from the 305 and i'll be headed out to houston on 7/24. Tell me what is it like so far being in houston and going to the sandbox. I planned on leaving on this date so i wouldn't have to wait a whole month to get paid. By leaving on 7/24 i'll get paid 8/18. Its all about making the flow and getting your stuff together so when you comeback you can live like a king. Maybe i'll see you there on one of the bases. Holla at me

so far houston is pretty chill. the grub at the processing center is edible, Kris keeps the briefings pretty light and between him and our crew its funny, usual firefighter ****. Today we have PRT training which is supposed to be ok, and then tomorrow we have NBC training which by all accounts sucks royal ass. but both of those are mandatory from KBR and they are run by KBR employees so there's not realy much can be done about that. my group is awesome already made some friends i know i'll be talking to years from now. and when your hear, make sure you check out Rick's and Houston Dolls.
