Used Humat Valve

HEY FOLKS...


Does anyone have a USED HUMAT valve sitting in mothballs in your firehouse that you would want to unload.


I have a chief I know that is looking for one. He does noe have alot of money to spend (2300.00 for NEW). I have had no luck on e-bay...

Does he specifically want a humat or a four way valve? We got a 4-way for around $1000. Not sure of the specifics of the Humat, maybe there's a difference?

Humat valves allow a water source to be connected, and a discharge to be connected and for water to pass through. Connect up another hose to the intake on a pumper, and another to a discharge, throw the valve, and you can pump the line without stopping water flow.

We do the same thing with a wye, and a siamese.

Exactly what our $995 4-way valve does. First due engine lays in and drops the valve. It gets connected and the hydrant is opened feeding the engine at the hydrants normal pressure. The second or third due engine (depending on assignment) connects to the valve to boost the pressure. No interupption of flow at any time!

Check ebay again! There is a used humat valve that was just listed for $800. The item # is 170101658034. Hope this helps.
