My interview is scheduled for Vegas on April 20th, just wondering if anyone knew how many were interviewing and what they are looking at hiring. I heard some rumors, but curious to see if anyone had any info. Good luck to anyone else in my boat.

I also have an interview on the 20th. I heard that LV is hiring 20 right away and the same with NLV. They both are currently building new stations right now. I also heard they will hire approx 100 people over the course of the list. I hope I am one. I have about 1800.00 invested flying back and forth from Cleveland Ohio. There are only about 5 questions they ask you. Thats what I heard from somebody that was hired 2 years ago. I was told that there was about 60 no shows or failures from the cpat so that means around 240 people for the interviews. Thats about all I know. Good Luck

I'm still pissed about the Vegas exam...

I ordered the study manual the day after I mailed in the test application, sent numerous e-mails and calls after weeks of not getting it, took the test, failed, got a call 3 days later saying they had no record of me ordering one.

Oh well.

I just got a letter with my dates for the psych test and background interview. It says I will recieve my conditional job offer at the psych test. I wonder how many they are sending?

I asked the lady who called me, and she said that this is only for Las Vegas Fire and Rescue. She said North Las Vegas will make their own calls.

I was told on wed may 3 that the cities were not sending out any letters for 2-3more weeks. Did you take the last test given in Jan 06? Congratulations, I have no idea how many they are sending out. Hopefully I will get a letter or phone call soon. Where are you from Scot45? Good luck

I'm from Las Vegas. I tested January 25, 2006. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue called me this Weds, the 3rd of May. I recieved my actual conditional job offer letter the next day. Out of the approx. 250 people that went to the boards, Las Vegas is sending 120 of us to the psych test and backgroud. The HR lady told me all the candidates that were selected were notified this last week.

North Las Vegas will be making their own calls this coming Monday.

Has anybody else heard from Las Vegas or North Las Vegas? I am from across the country so hopefully I am just waiting on the USPS.

I got a letter today with a scheduled written suitability assesment, oral suitability assesment, and backround interview set for the beginning of june. I just got it today and I live in Michigan, so if you haven't heard anything yet your stuff might be still in the mail.
