I'm applying for a Fire Inpector I position in Minnesota and I have to take a test before going to the interview. The test is based on fire inspector theory (not code knowledge), it's not the average reading, writing, and math type test. I was wondering if any one could give me some tips on what to brush up on.

Hi! I recommend IFSTA's Fire Inspection and Code Enforcement. (http://www.ifsta.org/html/catalog/36051.htm) Also, it may be a good idea to brush up on what is covered in the fire code in your state. Usually it is a model code or a modified model code.
