Yeah, MCFRS is definitely hiring, but be ready to ride on the ambulance for a couple years.

I'm interested in ANY hiring departments in MD or PA. I've ridden squad for over two years so the EMS side doesn't bother me. Are there any more in South Central PA specifically?

Thanks in advance

South Central PA???

MAYBE you might get something to work out in Hagerstown MD or Frederick County MD there isn't a damn thing going on in the great state of PA...mainly because it's so backwards and people don't realize what's happening.

Lancaster City is paid along with the City of York but good luck with them. Every couple of monthes it seems they start talking about lay-offs.

if you want to get hired you should really like in the DC/baltimore metro area. most departments do not have residency requirements, almost all are hiring, and the pay tends to be good. All do EMS.

In Maryland these counties:
Montgomery, Anne Arundel, Howard, Frederick, Prince George
In Virginia these counties:
Fairfax, Loundon, Arlington, City of Alexandra (which is the only one that has totally seperate EMS), Prince William, Spotslyvania
