Will I Get Hired?

I know that none of you can actually answer that but i'm just looking for any info. I finally got my letter of completion from fairfax co. f.d.!!! It's taken me 9 months to finish the process and i'm just wondering if anyone from fairfax or anyone familiar with how they do their recruiting could give any info on what my odds are since i don't have my emt cert. or medic? I do have a descent amount of firefighting experience. Will that make a difference?

Quite honestly, your previous firefighting experience most likely has no bearing on when you will be called. The fact that you are done with the process is a great sign though.

We are running about 4 classes a year, so things should move.

I had my letter of completion about 1 year before getting the call. The letter, I believe, is good for two years before you have to start the process over. Congratulations and good luck!

Thank's, I hope I to can get that call. I can't stop hearing about how good a place fairfax F.D. is to work for. Well I guess all I can do is keep waiting and hoping.
