ALS MEDIC/FIREFIGHTER
The County of Franklin Virginia is currently accepting applications to develop a hiring pool for the position of ALS MEDIC/FIREFIGHTER both full and part time to be used as a resource tool for future hires. Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and possess the following minimum qualifications at the time of hiring: Virginia EMT-CT or above; EVOC certification; Virginia Hazardous Materials Awareness; Virginia Firefighter 1; and a valid Virginia DMV operator’s license. Applicants will be required to complete a written and practical assessment evaluation as well as a physical abilities evaluation. Application must be submitted to the County Administration office NO LATER than noon on April 28, 2006
