Hey, I recently tested with a local FD in Tx. Ive done the written, physical, oralboard and just called back today for a chief interview. Any pointers on any things I can do or say to help the situation. Anyone know about the dress. For the oral I wore a suit and tie, should I do the same for the chief interview?

Unless otherwise told, ALWAYS wear a clean suit and tie. If you are sure you have a winning formula, why change? Stick with what you have, be clear and concise, enthusiastic, and don't freak out because its the chief.
Wishing you luck!

Dress as you would for any professional interview. I highly recommend a suit and tie.
Be honest and be yourself! You have made it this far, don't mess things up by trying to be something, or someone your not. Sit straight, look the Chief in the eye and answer questions honestly. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impression. Make it a good one. ;)
Good luck!
