Whats the difference between an 8 hour polygraph and a 2 hour polygraph?

An 8 hour is four times as painful. ;-) Where are you testing? Mine was about an hour including wait time, paper work, and polygraph. Two hours I could see if they went really slow, but eight hours!?!?

I have seen 8 hour polygraphs when the subject was accused of arson or murder. The goal was to get a confession. An 8 hour pre-employment polygraph means the operator doesn't know what he is doing.

I take my polygraph at the end of this week. How did yours go? Did you hear any new information about the process? How many got polygraphs? I heard about 70.
keep in touch

I think it went well. I haven't heard anything yet. Where did you hear that they invited 70 to the polygraph? I haven't heard any good rumors. Do you know anything else?

I talked to the HR office and they told me around 70. During the written test they said there were going to be 60. Maybe 60 is the real number, I dont know.
How did the polygrapher treat you? I have never taken one before, so I dont know what to expect. Do they have your application in with them or do they have you fill out a different questionnaire?

Everyone I have met during the recruit process has been very nice. This was my first polygraph also. I am not sure of what information the polygraper has at the time of the test. I would guess that they have your background from HR, but that is just a guess.
