Hello guys, i am a emt-iv in tennessee along with my wife. she is now expecting @ 6mths though and is no longer on a truck. we have been doing this for 1yr and love it. yes i am in the renal round up (privet service). I just put my app into a great county and hopeing to get on. I am debating on going on to medic class right noe due tothe new child comming and already having 2kids. i wanted to wait at least 1yr on a county service before i go though the class. If you have any ideas please let me know if i should go on with it or wait.

Good to see someone else from Tennessee on the Forums. What part of the state are you in? I'm a FF/EMT-IV in Union City (upper left hand corner of the state).

Perhaps you might want to add yourself to the list here? (http://forums.firehouse.com/showthread.php?t=75036&highlight=kind+google+map)

Really? I worked North of Nashville and for R/M in nashville before I came to Idaho in late 1998.

Funny. Both I and my wife are EMT-IV's around Nashville and she is 4 mos pregnant. I do mainly law enforcement, but my dept is cross-trained LEO/FFs with roughly 400 medicals a year. I am the EMS Coordinator/BLS & First Responder Instructor also. Here's a link if you're curious who I work for.. :D

I am an emt-b working for a private service as well and do mostly "granny runs" as they say. Occasionally, we might work an mva. I also work a second job as a private duty nurse to make ends meet as we have 4 boys on the house.
