Pretty nice job there. I notice that Stn 2 is actually a house. I heard a while back that Calgary had been investing towards that end, up in the NW. Always kinda thought it was a bit of a strange idea, but if it works. :D

Calgary has two or 3 house style fire halls. We run our CAFS truck out of ours - primarily a first response unit equiped for medical, fire and extrication.
The house fits into the area nicely. Many people dont realize it is a fire station until we open the garage door and turn the emerg lights on. Community is very happy.

And it didnt cost them millions to build a new station. But I think the first time I see a response come out of one, it will cause an secondary MVA! The shock alone of at least one code 3 truck rolling out the doors would be enough for anyone. :D

The house actually cost $80,000. Price for land. We were able to secure grants for the rest of the structure. 1 grant was for the roof (recycled rubber) - I think the total was $280,000 in grants.
