Victorian firefighter killed by truck.
A volunteer firefighter has died after being struck by a firetruck while battling a fire in Victoria's north.
"The female volunteer firefighter was struck by one of the firetrucks while they were out at an address in Barnawartha fighting a grass fire," a police spokesman said.
The Major Collision Investigation Unit was on its way to the scene, west of Wodonga.
The female CFA volunteer, aged 40, was fighting the blaze on private property when she was struck at about 2.30pm on Friday, he said.
