Do most firefighters have their emt-p before they get hired or are they emt-b and get the paramedic after they have been firefighters.

Most of the ones I know started off as EMT-B.

Are there any jobs you can get with a emt-b like at hospitals or anywhere

Pretty much all of the EMS and Ambulance services where I live staff EMT-Bs, there are more BLS Ambulances then there are ALS where I live. Me personally, I would shy away from the transport Ambulances services (such as Abbott etc..), your skills will get rusty doing nothing but transports.
