UGH!!!! I dont know what my cousin was thinking. She gave me two of the most whackerish, lame ass t-shirts for Christmas. What an embarrasment.

Anyone want them? Size XL.

If not, I am going to use them to clean my bathroom floors.

I know how you feel. Couple of years ago I got two shirts from different family members that are identical. They have on the back "It's all about being a hero." They sit in the closet since I refuse to wear them.

I've also been given some shirts like that before.

I won’t wear them outside the house. I just wear them to bed. I sometimes wear them when I'm cleaning my house. I should be careful, might accidentally splash bleach on them.

I collect T shirts. REAL FD T shirts. Such as LA, Baltimore, Boston, Houston, Kansas City, Rocky Ridge, Seattle, You get the idea..... BUT, almost every christmas, someone gives me a "whackerish" shirt of some kind, and almost every April, when the weather gets to where you don't need a jacket, that shirt gets "Donated" to some kid around the station......... ;) ;)

My brother in law drew my name for Christmas, and as an gift gave me this 12" diameter patch with a FF walking thru flames with-and I kid you not "Real American Super Heroes" across the bottom  He even mentioned that he thought it would look great on the back of my Union jacket. All the family was here and thought that was a great idea. YIKES. I'd shoot myself before I put that thing on anything I'd wear in public. Any ideas on how to keep the family from hating me?

Rags for the garage or a shirt for under a sweater. Salvation Army likes donations also.

Maybe you and Bou could donate your gifts to the Smithsonian. They could create a whole new display.. "wacker world" :D

I too received the "things that sound dirty on the fireground" shirt.

It does make a great undershirt for sweaters or sweatshirts.

Ok, Sorry for the delay, I was at work and had no internet.

Ok, one says- "WHO SAYS MEN CANT COMMIT?" And has a picture of some gear in the middle. And the SCBA is an ISI- No F-ing thank you. Scott for Bou!

And the other says- "Brotherhood- Its not just a matter of life and death. Its more important than that!"

Sorry, I love the brotherhood, but not a shirt that clowns on it.

I would go look for the picture of the shirts, but it wold be a waste of energy.

If you like these shirts, sorry again. they just arent for me.

hey bou, that second one sounds pretty decent.

Well, BOU, you could always use them as awards for the most dumb-axe move of the year. Veteran FF's, especially, would get a kick out of them
Then again, maybe Mini-me would like them for nightgowns :p :D

Come on folks...lets help Bou with this bidding. Starting at only a dollar a shirt. If he were to sell both for only a dollar he could buy a gallon of gasoline (maybe) :D

BTW...I am not going to bid on this crap, but thought that I would help someone from the brotherhood.

I wonder if there are agricultural whacker T-shirts?

To answer that question, YES. I actually still have a couple from my High School FFA days.

One Says:
"I Farm, You Eat"

The other:
"All Men are Not Created Equal, Only the Finest Become FARMERS"

Just throw them out and pretend that they got destroyed when you went into a fire. say the plastic stencil stuff ran or something.

Is it just me or do those types of shirts always maximize the surface area of the shirt - the art work is huge!

No picture of me modeling unless the females out there do the same. With maximun skin showing. Besides, looks like you already go me "whacked out" in the picture with my nefphew.

Hello.My-uh-my name is "Doug" and I'm a whacker.
I do have numerous whacker shirts but since I have more "normal"T-shirts and real shirts as well,I don't wear more than one whacker shirt in a week.
Though no longer a member of my volunteer department due to a relocation,I do wear my old department shirts to show that I do have the chops to run in where everyone else is trying to get out.
And yes,I do wear a shirt that says"No one can force me to run into a burning building.I am a VOLUNTEER".
My advice is to accept the gift with good graces, but give the shirts to a newer member so they can learn about wackerism on their own. This way,you stay good with your cousin and the new guys can learn from you the dangers of your job while having things that they learn from experience with little prodding from you.

So, I'm reading along thinking this is amusing, and what a loss that there just aren't any good women's whacker tess.. and then I thought.. oops...
But seriously guys, you get all the cheesy tees, and the womens stuff is worse. Do you really think that "Fire Chicks Kick Ash" is any better?

I used to have one (we're talking about a decade ago) that had a gear rack and a purse with heals next to the gear. And it said something like "A Woman's Place is in the House" with "Fire" and an arrow between "the" and "House"...

The "chick" one is pretty lame...Actually, most of the shirts out there are! Great for the juniors and probies -- they don't know any better yet! ;)
