You may have heard of Tom Leykis somewhere. His radio talk show is national.

Anyways, he gives out dating advice to both men and women about dating and relationships. Really funny stuff and right on the money. I had to learn about dating the hard way before he came along.

Listened to Leykis for years. He's been banned in Canada by the CRTC for being "anti women". The BUZZ in Seattle recently went from talk to country so I'm without him. I'll probably start spending more than $40.00 on dates and calling the next day... :eek:

Back in the day Leykis focused on real issues, elections etc. Then he found his niche as the anti-Oprah. He readily admits that he does it for the ratings. High ratings mean higher advertising revenue which means a high salary for him. I find him and his callers to be very entertaining. I also like the Phil Hendry show which is a faux talk show and can be hilarious.

I have to admit, after seriously dating off and on for the last 10 years, he is very right on a lot of stuff.

As the man in the dating world, I get tired of being taken advantage of. Sometimes you feel like a meal ticket for a nice dinner. The games and BS.

Sure it goes both ways with both sexes. But Tom did find his nitch and he is right a lot of times. Granted he has been married and divorced four times, I guess he is experienced in the area of marriage. And he totally admits his failures.

Ok...What about the "guy friend thing"? I have been through this MANY TIMES and call BS on it.

Being the "guy friend" is BS. Dont be one just to bang the girl down the line. Dont be a liar and string along a woman. If you want to date her, be up front.

Just the rule I learned over about 13 years or dating and relationships. I have dodged the marriage bullet several times by choice.
