Hey Guys, Just Looking For Some Help. I Was A Volunteer Fire Fighter For 5 Yrs In Iowa, And Moved To Dallas Texas. I Want To Go To School To Be A Emt So I Can Get Hired At A Paid Department. Just Wondering If There Is Any Way To Get Some Funds Or A Grant To Go To School. I Have Fire Fighter 1 And Some Other Cert. , But Also Need To Know What Else I Need In The State Of Texas To Get Hired. Any Help Would Be Great. Thanks For Your Time

Try doing a search on the internet to see if Texas has a firefighter training council or the like. If you research along those lines you should be able to find the information that you are looking for.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to research some fire departments in Texas as well for they may list the necessary information on their websites.
