Hello everyone,
As some of you may know next semester I am starting a Paramedic degree with my local technical college. After looking at tuition cost, I have decided that I may want to just do the EMT-Basic Continuing Education course at my college. I am currently in school full-time at a regular 4-yr college working on my teacher's degree and believe that working on a whole separate degree at the same time (even though I would do it one class a semester) may be too difficult and costly. Do you recommend that I do the CEU course for EMT-Basic? Do most Rescue Squads look at CEU credits as the same as Tradition course credits? I don't plan to be an EMT full time, just on weekends or during the summerwhen I am not teaching. Would the CEU course suffice?
