You're right about that. The local impact made by Walmarts coming to town is one thing; the conditions in the business world that allow a place like this to exist is another thing entirely. I mean, 95% of everything in Walmart is made overseas by people making a pittance of what we consider the poverty level here...and what we have to pay for it is not that low, really. Man, that can't be good for us (or them) in the long run.
