Chesterfield Township fire

Chesterfield Township fire, rumors have it they are looking to hire. is this true? i know they are a combination fire deparment but is the fulltime looking to hire?

also, anybody know of any other hirings going on in the state or close to the borders? firehouse really doesnt get a lot of updates.

Chesterfield got a federal grant to hire six, they were going to hire them regardless of the grant though. They were just hired, one of them is a friend of mine. From what I've been told, they hired 6 FF/Medics to start in January, most of whom had been laid off from Warren or elsewhere. This hire will give them 31 full time. They still have about 10 part paid, they want to hire 5 more.

Clinton Twp is taking apps until Dec 20th to set up a new eligibility list. FF/Medic are both required . Not much chance of hiring more than a couple of that list though.

Yes, it is true that chesterfield is hiring. Actually, they hired 6 fulltime positions.

As for "other departments", Clinton Twp is accepting apps until Dec 20, 2005. Good Luck

I searched their websites and i was unable to find anything about them hiring.
i still sent in my app. to Battle Creek and chesterfield township for career.
