Im really new to EMS but I was asked a question by one of my EMT students and have had some trouble finding the answer. Though maby one of you guys would know. How thick is the diaphram?

It is thin and sheet like. I think the actual thickness varies between individuals.

The thickness of the diaphram muscle is about 1/4", but it is thicker at the chaest wall than it is in the middle.
