Town of Hancock Team Yellow?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the Hancock Department Team Yellow was about? I just started noticing a few assorted vehicles in the Ellsworth area sporting window stickers that just say in big letters Team Yellow and below I think it said Hancock Fire Department.

Hello, this may be late but Hancock VFD & EMS calls itself, Team Yellow in referance to our Safety Yellow painted trucks. It was a nickname that Capt Holmes( now Chief) came up with many years ago at a training, when all the other trucks there were red, and our trucks, and fire gear had yellow in it.. We stood out in the crowd, It builds our self respect, and is a bit catchy to..lol
