My fire department is hosting an Open House this weekend to promote National Fire Prevention Week. We are planning to hand out 9-volt batteries and smoke detectors to residents of our township, as well as other home safety items.
I have seen a form somewhere that departments use that exempt us from liability of any fault of the items that are distributed, that the residents sign before receiving anything. I think it also confirmed that they are a resident of the specific area.
Anyone have anything like this that you can email to me? Please PM me if so.
