Painting questions

I will be embarking on a small remodel in about 3 months.
I will be repaiting my room, I currently have white walls, they were primed and painted about 10 years ago.

I am going to be repainting with blue, Should I prime or kilz the walls before painting the blue?

Also what nap thickness do you recomend on a roller cover?

ten years to let the primer dry, 3 months to open the paint tin, i hate to think how long the edging is going to take you :D

I hate painting with a vengeance. I just finished painting the whole house except the veranda. We need to let the timbers we put in to replace some old rotting ones dry out cause they were very green when we got them.

For advice, i wouldnt take my advice on the technique, but colour choices i am good at, i just tend to get sick of painting and do a shotty job to get it over and done with quicker... :o
