A woman who spent nine hours floating across the Georgia Strait when she fell overboard two weeks ago was involved in another incident Sunday that required coast guard help.
Victoria-based rescue officials responded to a call for help around 5 p.m., from the Benedicte, saying the vessel was taking on water near Galiano Island.
The Benedicte is the same boat that Iwona Slivarich fell from on July 13 when a wave hit the vessel. Slivarich floated 24 kilometres before she was rescued.
Slivarich was on the boat with a man on Sunday when a coast guard hovercraft and vessel and a commercial vessel responded. A pump was supplied before the Benedicte was towed to shore.

It was my old unit, Joint Rescue Coordination Centre that would have directed resources for both of these incidents. :D
