I don't know if this has been done here before or not but I did do a search and couldn't find anything.
Seems like a lot of firefighters have cars, motorcycles, bikes, etc. (seems like it goes along with the "risk-taker" thing) that they ride for fun or to commute. Well LET's SEE THEM! Here's mine. A 2003 Suzuki SV1000:

My bike is still ticking away and still as reliable as ever.

Here's my ride...taken in Richmond, VA at the National H.O.G. Rally, last summer in August. The bummer is, I wasn't able to ride it to work today because the throttle cable broke and my local shop didn't have any in stock. Oh well, stuff happens.

You wouldn't catch me riding one, but Bones, no offense it looks better in the sun on the boardwalk(or maybe it's the 'scenery' around it on the boardwalk that makes it look nicer :D :D
BTW -- nice training props in the background!

I'm considering getting one. The price of gas is getting to be a real PITA. I drive more than 100 miles a day for work. My partner at work has parked his pickup and started riding a Yamaha to save money at the gas pumps.
It has nothing about being a risk taker. It's about being able to afford to drive to work every day.

My bike and the boss. He only rides in the yard. No ride time for him on the roads.

Since the start of riding season I have put 1900 miles on my bike and only 450 on my truck. I have saved enough in gas to make the payments.
Get the bike. Tell the wife/girlfriend/whatever "it's like getting a free motorcycle."
;)
PS: that 1900 miles is all "a to b" stuff with only one trip of about 125 miles.

That's what detachable wings are for....just the slightest force backwards and they'll slide right off the body. Ingenious!!

I don't have a season for riding. My main transport mode is a $65.00 Chinese built bicycle bought at Wally-world.
I use it rain, shine, snow or dead of night to get to where I need to go.
I even beat some of the guys that have motors on theirs to the station when the tones drop!

And? I have people that beat me to the station by walking while I'm driving my Jeep. How, you may ask? Well, because those guys only live a block away, and I'm a good mile and a half out....Don't be offended though, I'm just screwing around. It's good that you have that much determination though.

I ride an HD 2004 Vivid Black Road King.
Hard, leather bags; detachable backrest; detachable windshield; cruise control; anti-theft; Flame theme on grips, foot brake, floorboards, shifter; chrome bezels on all the lights; smoked lenses on turnsignals and touring lights; Stage One kit; Screamin' Eagle tailpipes with Fish fins.
I have been riding since I was 16. This is my dream machine.
