Young Company6Daniel--whilst realising that a broken down truck festooned in wires is possibly the most exciting thing that has ever happened in your short years, the crews that are still working down in the London Underground bomb sites, will hardly get a adrenalin rush out of your earth shattering news.

Personally ,just reading it makes me quiver with exhilaration-I am already into my fire gear and will catch the next plane out to photograph this momentous event.

Sure, some folks might want to hear about an interesting incident, but how 'bout a summary after the fact, not a play-by-play as the incident unfolds. You may also be violating some HIPAA regs (or might, if you're not careful....)

In any case, in the first incident, according to your times, dispatch to clearing the scene was 23 minutes. Couldn't have been that major an incident....

But hey, if if that's what floats your boat, go ahead....

just to let you know that the times are so not long cause are members know what we are doing, that on incident, they airlifted someone out, and the accident was close to the hospital anyway where they keep the helicopter, but they brought that person to PG Hospital, so it was not that long at all, ad also that company that responded was also close to that accident, so thats why it did not take that long.

Gotta look at this from a couple of angles-

1 Not the shiniest spanner in the toolbox.
2 Swedish creature that lives under a bridge
3Someone is setting some poor unfortunate simple Joe up
4 Someones idea of fun

My money is on 3 --a bit of a Forest Gump has been revved up to make a few laughs round the firehouse.

When there is an Incident, are companies do a great job. We try are best we always get the best of it. Especially the payment.

Company6Daniel--I don't normally do matchmaking --mind you as a retired London Fire Fighter we have been known to walk on water sometimes---Have I got a deal for you!!

There is a young gentleman called Slaytallica45--I really think that you and he would get on like a house on fire (Yes I know you are vollies-but this NOT an instruction to go and torch a building).

He is fully trained (well he has seen "Towering Inferno" twice and "Backdraft" 3 times) and in my book that is Chief Officer material--- His one hang up? Gotta have lights Blue Lights -lots of Blue Lights.

Why don't you get in touch with him? Then we could have the Thread to beat all threads--just think of the wisdom you both could impart to the world of firefighting--Frightening, bloody frightening.

My young friend, what a wonderful post! Compared to all of your previous postings this one actually makes sense-even to the use of a capital at the start of the sentence.
Has your alter ego become fed up and we are seeing the emergence of "SuperDanny"? I do hope so.
And as for your request to "shut the hell up" --you did not do us the courtesy of your own instruction--so please do continue with your "Breaking News" or as the phrase "Breaking Wind" would be more appropriate, use that.

A list of things to improve on.

1. Your grammar is horrible, I get better reading material from 3rd grade students.

2. Only post pertient information for serious calls. Wires and a low budget Mva are not serious calls.

3. I do not know what little world you are living in but God help us all if you are dispatcher for a 911 service. Conversly, if you believe that posting on a forum is dispatching you are also wrong.

4. Loosen the strap on you "special helmet" and empty the drool cup

You dont need to keep posting mean things to me ok, just ignore it, jus to say when we dispatch a company, we try to type all the information as fast as we can so we can get the Medical/Rescue Box out so we are not wasting time. There arnt always going to be grammar problems. Anyway i dispatch not write all the information for the company's ok.

Hey, if you're gonna post breaking news on the firehouse.com forums, thats fine, no one cares about that. But a MVA is not breaking news. A 5-alarm structure fire, such as the recent one in Montgomery County, is. Wires down is a routine thing. But a crane falling into a bulding in downtown Bethesda is a major incident. And while it may be easier for ya to post everything as it is happening, its a hell of a lot easier to read a summary after the incident.

and i gotta agree with ffmedic1006 one one point...your grammar sucks. You are not dispatching on the forum, you can take the time to look over what you write and make sure you at least spell everything correctly.

Hey at are Dispatch, Fireboard, we dont put all of the information neat and nice, we just type the information as fast as we can and send it the the Rip and Runs (Printers) and dispatch the companies. They just need to know what going on and the information of the incident.

Daniel, this is not dispatch/fireboard/communications/ whatever you guys call your 911 center. Although nearly everyone on this forum may be a firefighter, EMT, or medic, WE DONT NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING, NOR DO WE CARE, ABOUT THE INCIDENTS! I can pretty much guarentee no one that is reading any of this is going to get in their car and drive to Southern MD just to see a car accident or any other bull**** call. So please, if you must continue posting on here, at least use spell check *It takes less than a minute to look over what you post* and for God's sake, post something people actually care about reading!

Ok fine then if you dont want to know about it, then dont read it, and also have you people seen that i have not posted any breaking news so i am listening to you people so just calm down about the topic. Also i havent been able to type much breaking news cause are company is very busy.
