Two injured in Lindon accident
DAILY HERALD
A two-car accident in Lindon was less serious than it first appeared.
Pleasant Grove Fire Chief Mark Hales said two people were injured in an accident just before 7 p.m. Monday. The accident seemed severe enough to warrant calling in a medical helicopter, but although both drivers had injuries, neither required the helicopter.
The cars were on Geneva Road at about 500 North when the driver traveling north crossed the center line and hit the car traveling south.
"It hit it just off the bumper on the driver's side and pinned the driver in with the door and the dash," Hales said.
The fire department had to remove the door to get the driver of the southbound car out.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
