hi,
can anyone point me towards any information on common radio frequncys if any used for county to county mutual aid or interagency communications on the local level and state wide.

any in effect now or plans in the future.

any ideas or plans being put into play for complying with nims requirements for intra-agency communications.

i know that the emas have a state wide digital frequency, any radio gurus out their with any info about this?

The same applies to Wisconsin, Missouri and Indiana. One system with the same frequencies.

Somebody else will have to elaborate more, but i believe there is a High band and UHF frequency for mutual aid purposes, they call it something like "South Eastern Mutual Aid Compact Channel" or something along those lines. We run a frequency we call the "mutual aid" channel, which has no PL, and has a mobile repeater. Again, maybe somebody can elaborate more on that South Eastern Mutual Aid channel.

Call the Commonwealth Office of Technology up in Frankfort. There are multiple statewide channels that you can use I believe in all three bands (UHF, VHF, 800mhz). They've been telling us that for awhile, but I haven't reached the point of calling them yet.
