Steinbrenner must be very angry. The royals have beat the yankees 2 in a row. I will jump up and down for a week if the yankees and all the other billion dollar teams dont make it to the world series.

Look at the larger picture.
Despite the losses.....the Yankees have won 16 out of their last 22 games.

The Buddy Bell era of winning has arrived in KC. If the Royals can sweep the Yankme's ole Georgie might just have the big one tonight.

The sweep is complete. Even if this is the only sweep of the season, what satisfaction in beating the EVIL Empire for 3 straight. Just goes to prove all the money in the world can't buy a victory.

I have it figured out. There are two Yankees teams. The one you saw last week was the hungry, talented team. The one you saw the last three days doesn't give a crap about playing BB.
No one is a bigger fan than I am. But this is unbelievable. They are unwatchable. They faced 3 nobody pitchers. They got zero offensive output. Mental errors abound. Bernie Williams should announce his retirement today if that is the best he can do. Major mistake in the OF Wed. night. Major rally killing base running mistake last night. Womack gets picked off looking like he was asleep.
Something has got to change big time. Look for Mel to get the boot soon.
BTE, did any of you guys here the rumor that the Astros are shopping Clemens to a select few teams?

I LOVE it! Welcome back to planet earth Yanks. Yes the Royals got the sweep but you have to give the Yankees the assist, they beat themselves. It's going to be an interesting year. But I'll be over in the NL East watching that 5 team race.

With respect George, I shall hold up the final score. I'll let that sink in for a moment...
The Royals had the superior score, two , no make that three games in a row.
Dont worry George I'm just messing with ya. But I think our farm club out in KCK the T-bones could beat the Royals most days.
Oh and as far as facts, Not defeating the Royals, aka losing to the Royals, aka beaten by the Royals, any form of the above this year does in fact = embarassment.
Try not to take it too personal now, every dog has its day, or in this case 3 game series sweep.
