Here at the school we just experienced what is best descibed as a Seinfeld moment. Not more than an hour ago a group of female teachers were making the preparations in the faculty dining room for a surprise wedding "shower", if you will, for another soon-to-be married faculty member (complete with balloons, cake, little hearts on the cupcakes, flowers, nuts and mints...the works). As the "bride-to-be" entered the room she was met with the usual robust "SURPRISE!!!!!!!" ****enter cricket sound effects**** She BURST into tears and ran away....obviously not good. It seems as early as last night Mr. Right decided he was...er...Mr. Wrong and bailed. Cake anyone???

Before I get pounced on, I'm not making fun of the young lady...rather the awkwardness of the faculty...thus, a Seinfeld moment.

There's a fellow down in Georgia we could hook her up with since he won't be needing that Wilbanks character any more. . .

The food didn't go to waste did it?

At least the young lady found out now opposed to later!

Oh, I'll take a piece of that cake. :p

It sounds like nobody was quick enough on the ball to save that situation.

A quick witted individual would have jumped in with "Congratulations on Dumping that Loser", and then broken out a bottle of Tequila. :D

Stayback.

Very appropriate, seeing as there was a rather deep hole to climb out of with that SUPRISE party.
