We busted a guy on an arson case several years ago using dog crap. He adamantly denied ever being near the house that burned. Knowing no one there and having no other reason to be near the house, the shoe print we found in a HUGE pile of dog crap just outside the rear door where entry was gained, pinned him at the scene. Especially when we found the stuff on his shoes during the interview. When I first saw the pile, I would have sworn they had a pet buffalo, but it turned out to be a Great Dane. Not much difference I guess.

The guy that was taking the photos was funny as hell watching him wretch as he got "really" close to the pile to get 1:1 photos of the shoe print left in it. I don't know what they fed that dog, but they shbouldn't ever do it again. :( ;)

That's hilarious Tillerman. I work in a predominantly german speaking nursing home and that post had me chuckling.
