haz/mat ops & awareness certification

Does anyone know where I can get haz/mat ops & awareness certification, it wasn't offered during my fire academy and I know most departments require it for their applications. I would appreciate any help, if anyone knows of any classes being offered this spring.

Hey there,

If you have not already gotten your cert- Check with your county training co-ordinator- or your regional director. They can put you in the right direction. If you have the time - look up www.mich.gov, and go to firefighter training council ( mfftc) They do have a schedule of all programs listed for the state.
