Well folks, Gas Prices up here on the Island in Canada have reached $102.9 oer litre...not sure what that translates to in gallons but I know it's quite a bit.

Now if only I could figure out how to make a car that runs on Apple Juice, because that would be cheaper :eek:

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 3.7854118 liter

3.7854118 x 1.029 = 3.8951887422

My math SUCKS but I figure it's close to $3.90 per gallon. Of course that's in Canuckian funds, if you look at it in US funds it is $3.19.

If anyone can calculate this any better please do !!!! :D

Just heard on the news as I was puliing into work that the nation average for gas this summer is going to be around $2.24 per gallon. Just paid $2.35 per gallon. It's nice to be above average on some things but not this one.

I just talked to the guy who runs the gas station near where I work and he was telling me that the gas price is projected to hit $2.00/litre before the year is out. :eek: :eek:

$2.44 a gallon for the premium that I burn in the motorcycle. Cost me $12 to fill a damned motorcycle.

Well apparently it doesn't matter where you live, because up here in the great N. West, it's at $2.19 and that's for the cheap stuff!! Premium is at $2.54 here. It seems we want to be ahead of the country in all the WRONG ways!:p Go figure!!! Wonder if those people screaming against the Alaska drilling are enjoying these prices??!! ( :eek: Uh-OH!!! Unfortunately Sassy, an immediate vote to allow us to drill in ANWR will still take several years to build the infrastructure to get the oil out of the ground and to the pipeline. But it's nice to hear a vote of support.

Our gas went up 10 cents a gallon overnight and we're paying $2.19.

I just paid $2.539 for regular here in Cali. Diesel is $2.499 I think I'll polish up the old chopper and "old school" it to work for a while.
