WE RECENTLY WERE SHUT DOWN FROM DOING ROAD COLLECTION WITCH WAS OUR

BIG MONEY MAKER WHAT DO OTHER DEPT'S DO WITHIN NJ? WE HAVE DONE

PANCAKE BREAKFAST'S UPCOMMING FUNDRAISERS WILL BE RAFFLE 50/50 6

MONTH LONG, AND A BASKETBALL GAME IN OCT. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS

Harley. Much easier if you are near a boardwalk (like me) and get to spend nights up there selling limited number of tickets. Each week, it's a different crowd of tourists and many brother FF's stop by to say hi.

that would be nice but i am in north nj and alot of other dept's do that by me and we are limited to what we can do we only have so much manpower

Raffle off a car, a trip, something else. It takes more manpower to do the road collection than to sell tickets. Then again, I have never been a fan of begging for loose change.

Easter Flower sale, also instead of doing a walk, you could try doing a mailing. car wash, Bingo used to be big around here.

My department sells flowers at easter, holds a beef and beer comedy night around new years, and hosts a "photo show" (whacker fest) every March. One of our mutual aid departments recently raffled off a 2004 Dodge Dakota bought from a dealership in their local. It ended up giving both the fire co. and the dealership alot of good publicity.
