Hello,

My Fire Department Received their FEMA Grant and are need information on Mobile Cascade Systems. The system should be a trailer system for upto 6000psi systems. Also, can you include your experiences and preferences. Also, if anyone has that new Liberty models from Scott please feel free to give me some good information on them or any other system you feel is awesome. We have $36,000 to spend on the cascade.

THANKS!!!!

Russell FD in Massachusetts got a Liberty from the AFG last year, but it cost $65K. It had the compressor and all of that good stuff on it, so it you're just looking for the cascade part, should be doable for $36K.

You might want to have posted this in the Grants Forums, not everyone there reads posts over here.

We have had a Bauer trailer for several years now and have experienced no problems. Only draw back is the fact that you will run out of air on the scene. On numerous occassions we had to call another department to fill the unit at the scene. Since that time we have purchased a light/air unit from SVI and do not experieice the same problems since there is a compressor on-board. Our trailer is still used as a back up and second out in the event of multiple incidents.
