Looking for medics/fleet managers/ff that have had problems with the 6.0 superduty fords - peticularly of interest are smoke and surging problems. I am in charge of vehicle maint. and we've had our brand new front line rig out for over a month - nobody knows whats wrong with it, but I've heard rumors of this being a bigger problem. Please let me know if you've experienced it, or if you know of a Dept. that has and someone I can speak to about it. Thank you

Better get rid of it and get a Chevy 3500 with a Duramax.

Chevy with a IscrewsU(Duramax)? Good choice,NOT! The Duramax by TSB alone has at LEAST twice as many problems as the Ford 6.0. Try again,T.C.

my dept has f450 type 3 ambulances which are brand new and weve had a problem with smoke, we found its only when you have the parking brake on, the mixture in the diesel increases and creates are really noxious cloud of smoke and fumes we had to send it back to the ford dealer to have fixed, untill then we just didnt use the parking break
