Go Sox!!!!!!!! The hardest part was winning last year, going into spring training as the World Champions is the best feeling in the world. I think they have the talent to win it again if everyone stays healthy, and Matt Clement and Wade Miller pitch the way they are supposed to. It is sweet to know that the Yankees had the greatest collapse in sports history and suffered it at the hands of the Sox!!!

Any Yankees fans want to talk about that "collapse" last season? I think it was all A-Fraud, I mean A-Rods fault. And the fact that the umpires got ALL the calls RIGHT !

No way. They are too busy whining about A-Rod.

A big THANK YOU to Weruj1 for posting that Red Sox/Yankees site from last October. Unfortunately I wasn't a member at that time and wasn't part of the thread but it was nice to relive some of those memories.

Can The Boston Red Sox stun all the skeptics again and win The World Series back to back? Who cares? Dunno...the day after the World Series the sun still rose the same in Danvers. Maybe I am not old enough to not be able to play these sports anymore. Im not trying to knock you personally bro. But I would rather and do play baseball and football in the summer with my buddys. Summer afternoons were meant for so much more than watching millionares haveing fun.

From all of us in Cardinals Nation:
F-Sosa
F-Bond
F-New York
and
F- Boston (although they are my 2nd favorite team in MLB they embarrassed us on the big stage last year)

No. And there is one very good reason why.
It is only about 48 hours into Spring Training and already they are pre-occuppied with baiting the Yankees into a fight. Has anyone noticed that the Yankees, so far, have refused the bait?

That's because the Yankees are preoccupied with the Steroid Scandal (cough Giambi cough)

If the Blue Jays could do it, the Bo Sox might be able to pull it off. Just don't ask for a Three-peat, cause then you'll get another friggin strike. :p
I bet the Yankees have got a serious itch on for them now though. you don't let a dominant legacy like that fade easily.

Preoccuppied? Hardly. They aren't talking about that, either.

stm4710-----------Everybody knows that baseball is a just a spectator sport. There's nothing like going to Fenway to watch the game, feel the excitement of the crowd, hear the crack of the bat, taste that cold beer, smell the food cooking etc.etc. Wait a minute, I can get all that in my buddies backyard with the game on TV. Yup, baseball is better to watch than to play. Personally, I play hockey ( year round ). As for football? GO PATRIOTS!!!

O.K.,O.K., I'll admit David Wells looked like sh*t but it is a long season and it is only one game. Right? Besides, what's the chances of Mark Belhorn setting another record of strikeouts? :p

Yeah, even though he got the W, he is too old, too easily intimidated by the NY press and not able to handle the pressure of the NY fans.
Yeah, right!
Hey, Manny looked great didn't he? He was his usual look like a soup sandwich and don't give a rat's butt how I play self. Scumbag.

Are you kidding me? Why in the world would they decide to do that? I don't think the Patriots can afford to lose him.
