Hey all, I am working on a public speaking speech about entry into the fire service. I need a few quotes (short) that sum up all what the fire department is and what it is about.

Also, What would be your greatest piece of advice that you could give to any person that is considering or in the proccess of entering the fire service.

Also, Any pictures or Collages that capture the fire serivce in its many aspects, One pic that sums everything up about the service.

Any info would be appreciated.

And I searched the fourms
and found nothing.

When you have a day to come up with a speech topic and create a visual aid, things get misspelled.

Thanks for all the info.

We are directly above NJ, that little triangle county (Rockland) on the Hudson River, across the Tappan Zee Bridge from Westchester. Exit 14 on the NYS Thruway.

"125 years of unchanged tradition."
or
"Situation Dictates."

I seem to hear these lines alot from our chief.
