Well....this is my 5000th post.

Would like to say god bless and stay safe to all the friends I have made in this forums. To those of you that I have ticked off, I say...I hope that we can agree to disagree and still be friends. To those that have asked for advice, I hope it helped.

I have enjoyed the spirited debates and heated arguments as well as the "on the lighter side" discussions that we have had.

I will most likely never meet most of you and to that I can say that this is very unfortunate. To those of you I have met (Stevedude and 5pts) I say, thanks for the opportunity to meet and greet in person.

To the WT....I say thanks for your indulgence!!!! Great job.

Will any of you be at FDIC in INDY?

You sandbagger. Where you been posting your stuff? You still trying to revive that Florida thread in the US state forums? Still trying to catch Illinois?
Man; that's a lot of bloaviating, wouldn't you agree? But Josh is hot on your heels.

Congratulations, Stan. I know you are a busy man, but Harv; how in the hell did you sneak by me? Sheesh; never saw it coming. I'm gunnin', my friend. Hey; have you read your new episode of Jake and Vinnie. I hear tell it's pretty funny. At least, CJ thought so.

some are discussions of our favorite beers
some have been advice, tried and trusty
helping those who wish to become "Crusty"!

Well...

I'm probably the last person you would have thought would post here. I have questioned your posts in the past, and have learned from my mistakes. You and many other people immediately put me in line and helped me to realize the mistake I had made. Congratulations on this milestone.

Thanks for all of your insight. You need to come to Tallahassee and drink a Guiness with me some time.

Just a flying visit then - mainly for the exhibition? I get in at the end of the previous week and am there for the HOT sessions and exhibition/classroom sessions, before flying out on the Sunday morning back to NYC and then the Looooooong haul home back to Oz (and I hate flying).

Looks like there's potential for another meeting of crust - I've already met Pumper41, SuperChef and E229Lt in my various travels so far, and only just missed out on meeting SteveDude (and Paul Grimwood).

I think I'm staying downtown as well - about a block from the convention center which makes life a lot easier.

I am only there for the exhibits. My equipment company is sending me. Will let you know where I am staying when I confirm. I have also met Stevedude and hope to some day have the honor of meeting E229Lt as well as e40FDNYL35

Ohhh...Ok. I thought being in the top 10 was going to be a
stretch. Too bad my old posts dont count from the
old-Firehouse.com days.

And for Mini-Me...I got my peanut butter and Glock waiting
right here for him.

Grass skirts? Palm trees? I was working extremely hard examining the dry, parched vegetation on the islands of Maui County, Hawaii and advising the Maui County Fire Dept. on how to combat wildfires.

(Nah......don't believe a word of it. I was doing a story at the marine facility at Kaneohe, working at the Senior Skins tournament and checking out a research team doing "CritterCam" work in Hawaii.)
