First time posting a message, new subscriber. I recently applied as a POC at a combo dept. in Washtenaw county. I was wondering if anyone with this kind of experience could tell me what the relationships between the union guys and the part timers are like.?.?. I used to work part time at Riverview and the surrounding cities' career guys didn't seem to care for us too much. Some of them made that very clear too. My intentions are to become a career IAFF guy myself and I just want a little insight. Thanks

What fd did you apply at?
The combo depts out there in Washtenaw do quite well- not much aminosity between full time and POC (although there is some minor squabbling when things get slow).

Thanks for the replies. I used to work at Riverview back in '97-'98. I applied at Pittsfield Twp. and may apply at Scio Twp.
Thanks again,
KC
